Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time role with school districts in the Boone, NC area. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to student success by providing specialized occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities...
• Evaluate Students: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students’ physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to determine their therapy needs.
• Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Design and execute individualized therapy plans aimed at improving students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Provide Direct Therapy: Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions to students, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities and academic participation.
• Collaborate with School Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and support students’ overall development.
• Document Progress: Keep detailed records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress.
• Attend IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations for therapy goals and strategies.

Qualifications: • Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the North Carolina Board of Medicine. • Completion of a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. • Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination.
