Cloud Engineer

- We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with solid experience in infrastructure automation, continuous delivery pipelines, and integrated security practices.
- You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments, supporting our production, development, and testing systems.
- Hands-on experience managing Kafka for event streaming and maintaining robust observability with ELK Stack will be crucial to ensure system reliability and traceability.
- We expect a proactive mindset with a strong focus on process automation and continuous improvement of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage infrastructure on AWS and DigitalOcean.
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including deployment automation using ArgoCD.
- Set up and maintain Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and secure configurations.
- Deploy and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana).
- Integrate automated security controls throughout the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Configure and manage VPNs to ensure secure environments.
- Continuously monitor infrastructure and applications, applying best practices for observability.
- Contribute to strategies for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
- Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and secure integrations.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, CloudFront, etc.).
- Experience with DigitalOcean, including droplet and private network management.
- Expertise in managing Kubernetes in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka: setup, monitoring, performance tuning, and secure configuration (SASL/SSL).
- Strong experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana) for monitoring and observability.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
- Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps deployments.
- Knowledge of VPN setup and management.
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficient in scripting and automation: Bash, Python, YAML.
- Familiarity with security tools for CI/CD pipelines: Snyk, Trivy, etc.
Non-Technical:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
- Ability to translate business requirements into efficient infrastructure and automation solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-DevOps or non-infrastructure team members.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential incidents or bottlenecks in the infrastructure.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Self-motivated and autonomous, with the ability to work independently and also collaborate within cross-functional teams.
