DMS - Lead Supply attendant- International Trade Compliance

The DMS Lead Supply Attendant - International Trade Compliance plays a crucial role in coordinating both international and domestic shipping operations. This position is responsible for managing logistics movements of parts via various transportation methods, including truck, air, and ocean. The Lead Supply Attendant will perform shipment reconciliations and must possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. A self-starter mentality is essential for success in this role. Key responsibilities include the proper classification of products using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), screening business partners and visitors, and preparing shipping packets. The Lead Supply Attendant will also complete all necessary paperwork for compliance, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), labels, pick tickets, and checklists. Additionally, the role involves shipping goods and verifying items against import/export requirements, coordinating with transportation companies to plan, schedule, and manage shipments, and performing any other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality or Global Transportation Program Manager.

- Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience. ,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ,
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize objectives in a fast-paced environment. ,
- Current, valid driver's license. ,
- Ability to meet deadlines and work expeditiously while maintaining accuracy. ,
- Availability to work 40+ hours per week, mainly M-F dayshift with evenings and weekends as needed. ,
- Proficient in SAP, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, SNAP-R, ACE, and screening tools. ,

- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. ,
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Trade Compliance Certification, or related field preferred. ,
- Prior experience with import & export clearance procedures and dangerous goods preferred. ,
- Willingness to travel as required. ,
- Knowledge of SAP preferred. ,
